Description
Mustard Seed Communities (MSC) is a well established faith based non profit in Jamaica, founded in 1978 to care for some of the nation’s most vulnerable — children and adults with disabilities, children affected by HIV/AIDS, teen mothers in crisis and marginalized inner city populations.
Over the decades, MSC has grown far beyond its humble beginnings, now operating a network of homes and community outreach projects across Jamaica.
Their work includes lifelong residential care, essential daily meals (serving over a thousand children), early learning support, sustainable agriculture, education and skills training aimed at helping residents and local communities build independence and dignity.
MSC’s care extends nationally: its homes cater to individuals with a wide range of physical and mental challenges — from cerebral palsy and Down syndrome to HIV affected children and young mothers needing safe transitional support.
Through compassion, sustainable support, and community empowerment, Mustard Seed Communities remains a trusted institution — offering hope, care and opportunities for the most vulnerable in Jamaica.
