Description

Blue Mountain Wilderness Retreat (BMWR) is our secluded mountain haven where nature, culture and calm converge.

We are proudly located in the lush hills above Kingston, at Bangor Ridge, where mornings come with mist on the peaks, nights sparkle with stars and every view feels like a painting.

Our retreat offers several ways to stay: rustic cabins like the “Jamaica House”, cozy dorms, and campsites nestled among bamboo groves or ridgelines.

We believe in sustainability.

We harvest rainwater, light many areas with solar power and work intimately with our local Bangor Ridge community, whose presence and traditions are woven into every element of our guest experience.

Our kitchen can cater meals or if you prefer, you can u cook using our shared facilities. Free WiFi, comfortable lounging areas, and sweeping views over valleys accompany every stay.

For those who love adventure, we offer guided hikes, birdwatching, immersion into Blue Mountain Coffee country and peaceful moments listening to forest sounds.

Whether you’re after a quiet nature escape, a cultural immersion or simply a place to unwind far from the bustle, we aim to make every stay feel like home, with warmth, authenticity and the grandeur of the mountains as your backdrop.
